Tracy leads communications, marketing and outreach for New Ventures, WRI’s center for environmental entrepreneurship. New Ventures helps environmentally-focused small and medium enterprises in six key emerging markets to grow and compete in a global economy.

Prior to joining New Ventures, Tracy worked as the New Media & Publications Manager for the Australia-based Climate Institute, where she was in charge of all online media for the organization’s policy, business and agriculture programs. Tracy helped found and direct media programs for Project Survival Pacific, an organization working on climate change issues in the Pacific Islands. She also spent several years working in the magazine publishing industry in editorial, marketing and advertising roles.

Tracy received a BA in American Studies from Cornell University and an MA in Media from The University of Sydney.
