Sally Prowitt is part of the Business Engagement in Climate & Technology team, working on research advancing corporate climate innovation and leadership.

Sally engages companies participating in WRI’s Climate Safe Business Network to foster dialogue and knowledge sharing on climate policy, technology, and strategy topics. She also contributes research and analysis as part of WRI’s Next Practice Collaborative, exploring opportunities for zero carbon value chains and climate adaptation.

Prior to WRI, Sally worked in the legal field for several years, before going on to work in clinical psychology. Through a graduate program at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, she became interested in the interaction of ecology with human and social systems and after finishing her psychology doctoral coursework, decided to leave with an M.A. to pursue a career in the environmental field. She moved across the pond to undertake an Msc in Environmental Technology (with a focus on global environmental change and policy) at Imperial College London, and joined the WRI upon completion. Sally also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Georgetown University.
